Founded on March 4, 1955, by Gianfranco Maldifassi, ILPRA was established with the goal of designing cutting-edge food packaging machines. In the same year, the company marked a milestone in the industry with the creation of the first tray sealer in Italy—an innovation that laid the foundation for long-lasting success. ILPRA, an acronym for Industria Lavorazione Prodotti Resine e Affini, is not just a name: it is the embodiment of an entrepreneurial vision based on quality, reliability, and technological research.

In the 1980s, under the leadership of Maurizio Bertocco, the company embarked on an unprecedented growth path.
