70 years at the side of our customers

ILPRA began in 1955, with the creation of the company and its first innovation: the tray sealer for food packaging. In 2019, ILPRA took a major step by joining the Italian Stock Exchange. This move opened up new ways for us to grow and reach new markets around the world. It’s part of our goal to work more with international businesses, making sure our packaging solutions are always at the cutting edge of production technology.

1955

Gianfranco Maldifassi founds ILPRA, initially producing polyethylene film for industrial machinery.

1970

The focus shifts to packaging machines through the development of blister tray sealers.

1982

A major turning point is reached with the launch of the first MAP tray sealer.

1988

Under the leadership of Maurizio Bertocco as CEO, international expansion begins with the first UK branch.

1992

The ILPRA Group is established, bringing together companies dedicated to packaging technologies.

1995

Strong market growth drives the opening of seven new branches, with ongoing expansion worldwide.

2019

A key milestone is achieved with the listing on the Italian Stock Exchange, supporting long-term growth.

2020

Market presence is further strengthened through strategic integrations and the opening of three new branches.

2025

Always being at the customer’s side, from design to installation and beyond, has made our company capable of presenting a unique value proposition. Today, we are consultants, designers, manufacturers, suppliers and supervisors for your packaging project.

Consultation & Design

Your request is reviewed by our product management team and technical department to determine the best solution. We then design your new packaging line, incorporating input from R&D, and produce it entirely in our factory.

Manufacturing & Quality Check

After production, we test to ensure the hardware and software work together as planned. This includes thorough testing in our showroom and testing room. Customers are invited to see their new machine in action.

Installation & Training

Our technicians handle installation and train your staff to ensure comfort with the new technology. We provide ongoing support with remote assistance and predictive maintenance to prevent downtime.

After Sales Services

Our spare parts department monitors component conditions and quickly responds to maintenance needs, ensuring smooth production without interruptions.
